La información periodística en la corresponsalía de televisión “Banivisión”

Abstract

Surgida en Europa y extendida hasta Latinoamérica, las televisoras comunitarias ha sido un acertado instrumento de manifestación y defensa de las realidades locales en un mundo globalizado. En Cuba la llamada “televisión de proximidad” es parte de la Red del Sistema Informativo Nacional, que desde el triunfo revolucionario en 1959 fue destinado para satisfacer las necesidades informativas de la nación. Las Corresponsalías Municipales de Televisión son creadas a partir del año 2005, con el objetivo de fortalecer los valores idiosincrásicos, contrarrestar las campañas mediáticas de Radio y Tele Martí, además de garantizar la presencia en la programación provincial y nacional de varias regiones del país. La cobertura inmediata ante sucesos noticiables apunta hacia el género información como el fundamental en las corresponsalías. Banivisión, corresponsalía perteneciente al municipio Banes, Holguín, posee alrededor de cinco años de trabajo. La estructura de control del Telecentro Tele Cristal señala inconvenientes en el trabajo de la corresponsalía, que en ocasiones ha limitado la publicación. Todo ello además de la inexistencia de investigaciones relacionadas con la producción informativa en los incipientes medios municipales, constituyen razones que inspiran al estudio de la información periodística en la Corresponsalía de Televisión Banivisión.

Communitary television centers which were used firstly in Europe and extended to Latin America have been a proper instrument of manifestation and defense of facts in a globalized world. In Cuba, the so-called “television of proximity” is part of the National Broadcasting System. Next, which since the triumph of the Revolution was used to satisfy the informative needs of the nation. In spite of not existing searches related to the information production in the municipal means, it inspires the present study made by Banivision.
