Un acercamiento a las rutinas productivas del periódico ¡ahora! en el periodo: enero 1990- diciembre 1994

Abstract

Las condiciones económicas y políticas de un país predisponen el modo de actuar de sus ciudadanos. “El hombre piensa como vive”, reza el marxismo; y hasta nuestros días está más que comprobado. La investigación que ahora ponemos a su consideración muestra además la capacidad del ser humano de sobreponerse a condiciones difíciles y lo invaluable de poseer principios firmes. La más terrible crisis de la economía cubana sorprendió a los reporteros de un diario que, poco a poco, se convirtió en semanario y perdió ocho páginas. Una evaluación somera podría apuntar hacia su desaparición o el desvío de su política editorial hacia vertientes más convenientes. Sin embargo, la entrevista con sus protagonistas y el estudio profundo de sus números evidenció un cambio, sí, pero no de su esencia, como seguramente habría sido más fácil, sino de los modos de hacer, o lo que en periodismo llamamos Rutinas Productivas. Acerca de cómo un cambio radical de las Rutinas Productivas permitió mantenerse a flote a un pequeño periódico de provincia, trata este trabajo.
