Actualización del estudio del ciclo de vida del destino turístico Holguín

Abstract

Los cambios vertiginosos que se presentan en el sector turístico y sus tendencias, tanto en la demanda como en la oferta exigen una integración de todos los actores para lograr una adecuada gestión del destino turístico.El objetivo de la siguiente investigación es realizar un diagnóstico del estado actual del ciclo de vida de Holguín como destino turístico durante el periodo 2004-2012, para profundizar en el conocimiento de su desarrollo y evolución. Este análisis actualizado del ciclo de vida del destino nos permite hacer una valoración de cómo se comportan los principales indicadores y a partir de estos resultados tomar las decisiones correctas para con el destino, lo que nos llevará a mejorar dichos resultados. Para la elaboración de esta investigación fueron empleados diferentes métodos teóricos como el inductivo educativo y el análisis y síntesis en la confección del marco teórico referencial y en la aplicación de la metodología, el estadístico descriptivo. Como resultante del presente trabajo investigativo obtenemos la situación actual de Holguín como destino turístico así como la propuesta de acciones que permitirán el paulatino desarrollo de las mismas.

The rapid changes that take place in the tourism sector and its trends, in both the demand and its offer; require an integration of all actors for achieving an adequate management of the tourist resort. The objective of the present research is to carry out a diagnostic of the present situation of the cycle of life of Holguín as tourist resort during the period between 2001-2012, for deeping in the knowledge of its development and evolution. This updated analysis of the cycle of life of the tourist resort, allows us to evaluate how the main indicators behave, and based on these results to make the right decisions related to the tourist resort, what help us to improve those results. For this research, various theoretical methods of investigation were employed, such as the inductive- educative and the analysis-synthesis in the la elaboration of the referential theoretical framework and in the application of the methodology, the descriptive-statistics. As result of this research the present situation of Holguín as tourist resort is obtained, as well as the proposals of actions that would allow the increasing development of it.
