Análisis del desempeño empresarial a partir de indicadores de eficacia y eficiencia en la Unidad Empresarial de Base Comercializadora y Distribuidora Mayorista de Medicamentos (ENCOMED) Holguín

Abstract

La Empresa Comercializadora y Distribuidora de Medicamentos (EMCOMED) del municipio de Holguín, perteneciente a la OSDE BioCubaFarma, es la única entidad destinada a esta actividad en el país. Surge el 1ro de Julio del año 2001, con el nombre de FARMACUBA cuyo objeto social era la importación, exportación y comercialización de medicamentos, es una empresa con altos niveles de eficiencia y eficacia en sus procesos. Esta empresa fue escogida para el desarrollo de la investigación por sus características. En la misma se realizó un análisis de los indicadores de eficiencia y eficacia. Mediante el estudio realizado se determinaron los principales factores que incidieron en el desempeño de lo organización y se trazaron acciones para erradicar las deficiencias detectadas. Para el cumplimiento del objetivo propuesto se utilizaron varios métodos y herramientas, entre los que se encuentran: inductivo – deductivo, análisis – síntesis, sistémico – estructural, observaciones directas, encuestas, entrevistas, revisión de documentos, etc.

The EMCOMED Company, located in the Holguín municipality, belongs to the OSDE BioCubaFarma and is the only entity currently developing the commercialization and distribution of medicines at a national scale. It was created on July 1 st, 2001, originally named FARMACUBA and with the purpose of importing, exporting and commercializing medications, it shows high levels of efficacy and efficiency in all of its processes. This organization was chosen for the development of this investigation because of its characteristics. An analysis of the indicators of efficiency and efficacy allowed to determinate the most important factors that have an effect on the performance of the organization. That was the main reason why this study was realized, and actions to eradicate the detected deficiencies, were drown. Several methods and tools were used to materialize the proposed objective, among them: the inductive-deductive, analysis-synthesis, and systemic-structural method, as well as direct observation, documents’ revision, interviews and surveys.
