Gestión de riesgos en los procesos clave del Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca

Abstract

Las organizaciones operan en entornos inestables. Esta inestabilidad se manifiesta en la volatilidad de variables exógenas que afectan, tanto positiva como negativamente, su desempeño. La gestión de riesgo, como componente principal del control interno, es una herramienta que nos ayuda a incorporar la volatilidad de las variables aleatorias y sus efectos, en el proceso de toma de decisiones de la empresa. Las entidades turísticas deben tener un eficiente control de sus medios y recursos por el costo que representan estos para el país. Por lo anterior expuesto, en esta investigación se plantea como objetivo general aplicar un procedimiento general para la gestión y prevención de riesgos, como componente del sistema de control interno, en los procesos clave del Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca, para contribuir a la mejora del mismo. Con la realización de la investigación se obtuvieron como principales resultados la identificación de los principales riesgos que afecta el logro de los objetivos de los procesos, así como el plan de prevención de riesgos para prevenir o contrarrestar la acción de los mismos. A lo largo de la investigación y en el diseño del procedimiento se emplearon métodos teóricos y empíricos, entre los que se encuentran: histórico – lógico, análisis y síntesis, inducción – deducción, revisión de documentos y entrevistas; y diferentes técnicas: el análisis de conglomerados.

The organizations operate in unstable surroundings. This instability is manifested in the volatility of exogenous variables that affect, positively or negatively, its performance. The administration of risk, as main component of the Internal Control, is a tool that helps us to incorporate the volatility of the random variables and its effects, in the process of taking decisions of the company. The tourist entities must deem an efficient control of their means and resources as the cost that they represent these for the country. It comes into question like general objective to apply a general procedure for the step and prevention of risks , like component of the internal control system in the processes , key of the Hotel Brisas Guardalavaca to contribute to the improvement , for the above exposed, in this investigation of the same. With the realization of this investigation we obtained as main results the identification of the main risks that affect the achievement of the objectives of the process, as well as the Plan of Prevention of Risks to prevent or counteract their action. Theoretical and empiric methods were used along this investigation and in the design of the procedure. They were: historical - logical, analysis and synthesis, induction - deduction, revision of documents and interviews; and deferential technical: the analysis of conglomerates.
