Procedimiento para determinar la capacidad de carga de los recursos turísticos

Abstract

La gestión del turismo se ha convertido en una de las actividades que genera mayores ingresos a la economía mundial. En Cuba, el turismo se ha transformado en la fuerza motriz del desarrollo económico, generando ingresos anuales en el orden de los 2000 millones de dólares. En correspondencia a este desarrollo, en los lineamientos de la política económica y social del país, aprobados en abril del 2011 , se define la política para el turismo, destacándose los lineamientos: 256 coherente al crecimiento de la actividad turística y el 267 con la renovación de la infraestructura turística. Para dar respuesta a estos lineamientos es necesario incrementar la capacidad del destino cubano, incorporando las zonas del país que presenten potencialidades para convertirse en territorios turísticos, para lo cual se debe identificar los recursos atractivos en estos territorios y determinar la capacidad de carga de los mismos para ser usados de forma sostenible. Sobre la base de lo antes expuesto, en la presente investigación se propone un procedimiento para determinar la capacidad de carga de los recursos turísticos en un territorio y se muestran los principales resultados obtenidos con la aplicación del mismo en el municipio Gibara. Para el cumplimiento de los objetivos planteados fueron empleados diversos métodos teóricos, empíricos y técnicas como: Sistémico-estructural, encuesta, análisis de redes, análisis de conglomerados, entre otros.

The administration of the tourism has become one of the activities that provides bigger revenues to the world economy. In Cuba, the tourism has become in the main force of the economic development, generating annual incomes in the order of the 2000 million dollars. In correspondence to this development, in the pillars of the economic and social politics of the country, approved on April of the 2011, the politics is defined for the tourism, standing out the pillars: 256 coherent at the growth of the tourist activity and the 267 with the renovation of the tourist infrastructure. To give answer to these pillars, it is necessary to increase the capacity of the cuban destination, incorporating the areas of the country that present potentialities to become tourist territories, for that which should be identified the attractive resources in these territories and to determine the capacity of load of the same ones to be used in a sustainable way. On the base of the before exposed, in the present investigation, it proposes a procedure to determine the capacity of load of the tourist resources in a territory and the main results are shown obtained with the application of the same one in the municipality Gibara. For the execution of the outlined objectives they were theoretical, empiric and technical employees diverse methods as: Systemic-structural, it interviews, analysis of nets, analysis of conglomerates, among others.
