Para el estudio se utilizaron métodos teóricos y empíricos entre los que sobresalen histórico-lógico, inducción-deducción, análisis y síntesis, así como la revisión de documentos, encuestas, entrevistas, entre otros. Se determinó que en la práctica no existe este programa y se constató insatisfactoria calidad del proceso de orientación profesional que antecede el ingreso a la carrera, insuficiente preparación de los profesores sobre este tema, las estadísticas arrojan considerable porcentaje de estudiantes que desertan, bajos rendimientos académicos, no se dispone de vías que permitan dirigir y organizar la orientación profesional en la carrera. Los autores proponen accionescon las que contribuyó a dicho propósito.Este estudio se realiza en el grupo de segundo año, y se demostró la efectividad de la propuesta.; The pedagogic vocational guidance at the Pedagogic Schools constitutes one of its utmost priorities, hence the necessity of having a program for the pedagogic vocational guidance with systemic character, based on the Model for the Professional of the Primary Teacher. It was determined that in the practice this program doesn’t exist and unsatisfactory quality of the process of professional orientation that precedes the entrance to the majors verified, as well as an insufficient preparation of the professors on this topic. The statistics show that a considerable percentage of students deserts, and also the existence of academic low results. There are no means whatsoever that allow to direct and to organize the professional orientation in the major. The authors proposed actions that contributed to this purpose. En esta investigación se aplican 302 encuestas a instructores pertenecientes a instituciones españolas con la finalidad de examinar las estrategias, fases y acciones del aprendizaje basado en la indagación. Los resultados demuestran que las estrategias se enfocan en la optimización de la alfabetización informacional, por otra parte, la fase denominada orientación se configura hacia la responsabilidad de estimular el interés del estudiantado y en cuanto a las acciones, se evidencia la adaptación del método científico tanto en el desarrollo crítico como la obtención de evidencias desde el plano empírico. De allí que se vislumbre la necesidad de evaluar los soportes mediáticos en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje basado en la indagación y complementar con futuros análisis regionales el impacto.; Inquiry-based learning is constituted as an opportunity for the development of the student body through techniques arranged from the pedagogy focused on the use of the method and design of scientific studies. In this research, 302 surveys are applied to instructors belonging to Spanish institutions to examine the strategies, phases, and actions of inquiry-based learning. The results show that the strategies focus on the optimization of informational literacy; on the other hand, the phase called orientation is configured towards the responsibility of stimulating the interest of the student body and as for the actions, it is evident the adaptation of the scientific method both in the critical development and the obtaining of evidence from the empirical plane. Se diseñó primeramente un estudio empírico, en el que se aplicaron diferentes métodos y técnicas de investigación educativa, tales como sistematización teórica, observación, entrevista, encuestas, pruebas de desempeño, y otras, en diferentes unidades muestrales (78 metodólogos provinciales, 9 metodólogos nacionales, 14 directores y 14 jefes de departamentos de escuelas preuniversitarias del país) y pudieron determinarse las regularidades que caracterizaron el trabajo de esta figura en el Ministerio de Educación. Se concluyó que, hay falta de integralidad en el desempeño de las funciones profesionales del metodólogo; es insuficiente el desarrollo de habilidades y capacidades que le permitan transformar los escenarios de actuación, por lo que se determinó como objetivo ofrecer un perfil profesional del metodólogo provincial de educación preuniversitaria, que desde sólidos fundamentos teórico-metodológicos, determinaron qué necesita saber, saber-hacer y ser, a partir de configurar sus funciones, roles y tareas concretas en la educación preuniversitaria.; The investigation is of a descriptive-explanatory type. It was designed an empiric study firstly, in which different methods and technics of the educational investigation were applied, such as theoretical systematizing, observation, interviews, surveys, acting tests, and others, in different pattern units (78 provincial methodological advisors, 9 national methodological advisors, 14 principals and 14 head of staff of senior high schools of the country) and the regularities could be determined that characterized the work of this figure in the Ministry of Education. It is concluded that there is a lack of wholeness in the performing of the professional functions of the methodological advisor and insufficient development of abilities and capacities which are necessary to transform the performance scenarios. Durante el proceso investigativo se identificó el limitado desarrollo de escolares primarios para la comprensión de problemas aritméticos verbales. El análisis de la literatura especializada reveló la carencia de una tipología de ejercicios sustentada en los niveles de desempeño cognitivo, relativos a ese proceso y de una taxonomía de preguntas basada en la estructura externa de ellas. Consecuentemente, el artículo persiguió como objetivo ofrecer una tipología de ejercicios para el tratamiento de la comprensión de problemas aritméticos verbales. La aplicación de un pre-experimento permitió constatar la validez de la propuesta.; The article socializes the results of a doctoral thesis. During the research process, the limited development of primary school children for understanding word problems was identified. The analysis of the specialized literature revealed the lack of a typology of exercises based on the levels of cognitive performance, related to that process, and taxonomy of questions based on their external structure. Consequently, the article pursued the objective of offering a typology of exercises for the treatment of word problem understanding.
