Vulnerabilidad funcional de la estructura urbana ante el SARS-CoV-2. Caso de estudio Consejo Popular Pueblo Nuevo, ciudad de Holguín

Abstract

Las grandes epidemias de la historia no solo ocasionaron muertes, sino crisis de toda índole, creando el incremento de la capacidad de adaptación y supervivencia, sobre todo en los contextos urbanos. Epidemias y pandemias son el resultado de riesgos biológicos producidos por virus amenazantes que afectan a la salud y al modo de vida. En ese sentido se analiza la vulnerabilidad funcional urbana ante el coronavirus SARS- CoV-2 desde la estructura urbana. Desde dicha perspectiva se desarrolla la presente investigación, analizando la relación de la estructura urbana desde los servicios básicos, la movilidad y las infraestructuras en su incidencia ante el referido virus en el Consejo Popular Pueblo Nuevo. Se aporta el modelo de la ciudad de los 15 minutos, y se detallan los lineamientos generales de diseños a seguir para conseguir convertir al Consejo Popular en un distrito resiliente ante el coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. Para su desarrollo se aplicaron métodos de investigación del nivel teórico y empírico, que permitieron constatar las insuficiencias y generar los aportes referidos en la investigación

The great epidemics of history not only caused deaths, but crises of all kinds, creating an increase in the capacity for adaptation and survival, especially in urban contexts. Epidemics and pandemics are the result of biological risks produced by threatening viruses that affect health and way of life. In this sense, the urban functional vulnerability to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus is analyzed from the urban structure. From this perspective, this research is developed, analyzing the relationship of the urban structure from basic services, mobility and infrastructures in their incidence in the face of the virus referred to in the Pueblo Nuevo Popular Council. The 15-minute model of the city is provided, and the general design guidelines to be followed are detailed in order to convert the Popular Council into a district resistant to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. For its development, research methods of the theoretical and empirical level were applied, which allowed to verify the insufficiencies and generate the contributions referred to in the research
