Evaluación del comportamiento agroproductivo de la Saccharum spp (caña de azúcar) en condiciones edafoclimática de la UBPC “Arroyo Blanco”, municipio Cacocum.

Abstract

La investigación se desarrolló durante el período de Mayo del año 2011 hasta junio del 2012 en el área de la Unidad Básica de Producción Cooperativa (UBPC) “Arroyo Blanco, perteneciente a la unidad empresarial de base de atención a productores agropecuarios Cristino Naranjo del Municipio Cacocum, sobre un suelo vertisoles. Donde se evaluó el comportamiento agrícola e industrial de cuatros variedades de Saccharum spp. Hibrido (caña de azúcar) (C 89-161, C 323-68, C 1051 -73, C 86-503) en un suelos vertisoles de la UBPC “Arroyo Blanco” del municipio Cacocum que posibilite mejorar los rendimientos agrícolas de la unidad. Se realizaron cuatro parcelas con 5 carreras de 7,5 m largo sembrado a 1,60 m, se determinó al comenzar la cosecha. El diseño utilizado fue el de completamente al azar con 4 tratamiento y 4 repeticiones. Los indicadores morfofisiológicos determinados son: la longitud del tallo, diámetro, longitud de los entrenudos, número de hojas activas, número de tallos por metro lineales y el rendimiento agrícola. El análisis industrial que se determinó fue el por ciento de pol, brix pureza, toneladas de pol por hectáreas y el rendimiento industrial. La variedad que mejor rendimiento agrícola alcanzó en el suelo vertisoles fue la C 86-503 y C 89-16, con resultados económico favorables para la producción cañera de unidad.
