Perspectivas de aprovechamiento del potencial hidroenergético de la presa Mayarí.

Abstract

El presente trabajo se realiza en la Unidad Empresarial de Base Nipe Mayarí, donde se construye actualmente la Presa Mayarí, que suministrará a la provincia Holguín, Las Tunas y parte de Camaguey por el Trasvase Este-Oeste y determinó como problema científico: El insuficiente conocimiento y sistematización del potencial hidráulico de la presa Mayarí, lo que dificulta la correcta selección de pequeñas centrales hidroeléctricas para la conversión de su eserva hidráulica en energía eléctrica. Para dar respuesta a esta problemática se trazó como objetivo fundamental: proponer la construcción de pequeñas centrales hidroeléctricas en la Presa Mayarí. Para lo cual fue necesario realizar una caracterización del uso del agua, estudios y cálculos tales como: precipitaciones, evaporación, escurrimiento, impacto medioambiental, los consumos energéticos de la zona; con este estudio profundo se pudo seleccionar el tipo de turbina para el aprovechamiento del potencial hídrico. La nueva concepción tiene una importancia para la empresa, teniendo en cuenta que se está construyendo el embalse Mayarí con nuevas tecnologías, la cual trasvasará el agua hasta las provincias centrales. Valorando un grupo de características específicas del lugar tales como: la carga, el gasto de utilización para diferentes usos y la oportunidad de contar con brigadas constructoras de diferentes provincias del país, que facilitará la construcción en el menor tiempo posible y menor costo de inversión. The present work is carried out in the Managerial Unit of Base Nipe Mayarí, where it was determined as scientific problem: The insufficient knowledge and systematizing of the hydraulic potential of the prey Mayarí, what hinders the correct selection of equipment for the conversion of their hydraulic reservation in electric power. To give answer to this problem it was traced as fundamental objective: the installation possibilities of small central hydroelectric in the prey Mayarí. For that which was necessary to carry out a characterization of the use of the water, studies and such calculations as: precipitations, evaporation, glide, environmental impact, the energy consumptions of the area; with this deep study you could select the turbine type for the use of the potential hídrico. The new conception has an importance for the company, keeping in mind that the reservoir Mayarí is building with new technologies, the one which trasvasará the water until the central counties. Valuing a group of characteristic specific of the such place as: the load, the use expense for different uses and the opportunity of having brigades manufacturers of different counties of the country that it will facilitate the construction in the smallest possible time.
