Los Hábitos lectores desde la función orientadora del maestro

Abstract

Lograr que la lectura se convierta en uno de los hábitos más importantes de las niñas y los niños cubanos en la actualidad ha constituido un reto. La carencia de hábitos lectores justifica la necesidad de un mayor protagonismo del maestro en la escuela en su función orientadora, con ese fin. El objetivo de la presente investigación es la propuesta de un programa de preparación para el maestro que le permita contribuir al desarrollo de hábitos lectores en los estudiantes de la Educación Primaria, desde la función orientadora que realiza en las actividades docentes y extradocentes. El trabajo analiza aspectos significativos relacionados con la orientación educativa, la función orientadora del maestro, la importancia de la lectura y los hábitos lectores. Durante el desarrollo de la investigación se emplearon diferentes métodos científicos de carácter teóricos y empíricos. El programa de orientación se materializó a través de talleres, dirigidos a los directivos y maestros del segundo ciclo. Mediante su puesta en práctica se constató la factibilidad y pertinencia de sus actividades, las que fueron implementadas desde el proceso pedagógico de la Educación Primaria y se valoró la posibilidad de generalizar el uso de las alternativas aportadas.

The work examines significant aspects related with the educational orientation, the teacher's guiding show, the importance of the reading and habits readers. They used different scientific theoretic and empiric methods of character during the development of investigation. The orientation program materialized through workshops, once the executives were directed and teachers of the second cycle. The feasibility and pertinence of their activities were verified by means of his implementation, the ones that were implemented from the pedagogic process of the Primary Education and the possibility to generalize the use of the contributed alternatives was appraised.
