La Comunicación no verbal en la formación inicial del Comunicador Social

Abstract

La comunicación no verbal constituye un objetivo importante en la formación inicial del comunicador social. Sin embargo, dicho proceso, no ha tenido la misma atención que la comunicación verbal, teniendo en cuenta la importancia de las habilidades comunicativas no verbales en la comunicación interpersonal por la información que estas pueden trasmitir. En la literatura científica se reportan varias investigaciones acerca del tema en la formación inicial de profesionales universitarios; sin embargo, son escasas las investigaciones dirigidas a los comunicadores sociales, cuya profesión amerita que las habilidades comunicativas no verbales sean objeto de atención esencial. El objetivo del artículo es analizar teóricamente la importancia de dichas habilidades en la formación inicial del comunicador social y la pertinencia de su integración al resto de las habilidades profesionales que deben ser desarrolladas en la carrera. El empleo de métodos de investigación del nivel teórico y empírico permitieron fundamentar la importancia de la utilización del enfoque personológico en el proceso de desarrollo de las habilidades comunicativas no verbales desde las dimensiones cognitiva, afectiva, ejecutiva y estilo comunicativo, que evidencia el carácter integrador en la educación de la personalidad.

The non-verbal communication constitutes an important objective in the initial formation of social communicator. However, this process, have not had the same attention than verbal communication, taking into account the importance of the non-verbal communicative skills in the interpersonal communication by the information they transmit by themselves. In the scientific literature, it reported several investigations about the theme in the initial formation of the professionals’ university. However, the investigations of the subject matter on the social communicator are insufficient, whose profession is needed for the nonverbal communicative skills to be object of essential attention. The objective of the article is to analyze the importance of the development abilities in the initial formation of social communicator and the pertinence of its integration to the rest of the professional abilities that must be developed in the career. The utilization of fact-finding methods of the theoretic and empiric level allowed basing the importance of the job of focus personológico in the process of development of the non-verbal communicative skills, from the dimensions: cognitive, affective, executive and stile of communicative, that evidence the integrative character in the education of the personality.
