Estudio de factibilidad de la construcción de una Central Diésel Eléctrica en Moa

Abstract

En los momentos actuales, en que el país se encuentra enfrascado en la actualización del modelo económico y la implementación de las medidas asociadas a él, se requiere fomentar la cultura económica. La necesidad de adquirir estos conocimientos es importante si se tiene en cuenta que algunas de las alternativas a ejecutar están relacionadas con la decisión de invertir y por tanto no deben tomarse de una manera arbitraria. En consecuencia, resulta imprescindible contar en la empresa con una herramienta de análisis de las inversiones que permita abordar adecuadamente la evaluación de su viabilidad y, así, poderlas seleccionar de forma correcta. La forma de lograr esto es la realización de los estudios de factibilidad. Atendiendo a lo anterior se desarrolló este trabajo para realizar el estudio de factibilidad económico financiero de la construcción de una Central Diesel Eléctrica que asegure el suministro confiable de la energía eléctrica para la planta de Ferroníquel. En la investigación se desarrollaron pasos lógicos comprendidos en los estudios de factibilidad. Los análisis efectuados se realizaron para la moneda total y la divisa. Los escenarios se refirieron a costos de capital del 10 y 12%. Para estos resultados se demostró que solo es viable desarrollar la inversión para la moneda total. Además se consideró el factor precio de combustible para esta moneda y se mantiene la rentabilidad del proyecto. Para el logro del objetivo propuesto se requirió la aplicación de varios métodos, entre los cuales se encuentran: el histórico – lógico, analítico – sintético, empírico, estadístico, etc.

In the current moments when the country is buried in the upgrade of the economic pattern and the implementation of the measures associated to it, it is required to foment the economic culture. The necessity to acquire these knowledge is important if it is take in count that some of the alternatives to execute are related with the decision of investing and therefore they must not take them in an arbitrary way. In consequence, it is indispensable to have in the company a tool of analysis of the investments that allows to approach the evaluation of their viability appropriately and, that way, be able to select them correctly. The way for achieve this, is by the realization of the studies of feasibility. Assisting to the above-mentioned this work was developed to carry out the study of the economic and financier feasibility of an Electric Diesel Power station´s construction that assures the reliable supply of the electric power for the plant of Ferroníquel. In the investigation logical steps were developed, perceived in the studies of feasibility. The analysis were carried out for the total currency and the foreign currency. The scenarios were referred to costs of capital of the 10 and 12%. For these results was demonstrated that it is just viable to develop the investment for the total currency. It was also considered the factor price of fuel for this currency and the profitability of the project stays. For the achievement of the proposed objective the application of several methods was required, which are: the historical one - logical, analytic - synthetic, empiric, statistical, etc.
