Margarita Rodríguez y Pedro Pablo Biens: referentes indiscutibles de las nuevas generaciones de instructores

Abstract

El insuficiente conocimiento de figuras destacadas en el panorama artístico de regiones cubanas fue el punto de partida, el cual permitió definir como propósito de la investigación el acercamiento a la vida y obra de dos de los más consagrados instructores de artes plásticas de la provincia de Holguín: Margarita Rodríguez Castellanos y Pedro Pablo Biens Carballo. El método Historia de Vida rigió todo el proceso investigativo y concibió los elementos necesarios para la recopilación de la información que permitió la confección del documento. El trabajo implicó buscar los nexos concretos que se encontraban entre las fuentes documentales escritas, orales y materiales. En este sentido la entrevista fue fundamental para la investigación. El principal resultado consistió en la elaboración de un material contentivo de la historia de vida de estos instructores creadores, el que constituyó una vía factible para elevar el conocimiento acerca de sus vidas y obras, a la vez que sirvió como reconocimiento a la dedicación de los mismos en el campo de la instrucción artística. Se partió del criterio de que la labor desempeñada por ellos los convirtió en paradigmas de la cultura y que realizaron aportes indiscutibles al enriquecimiento del movimiento plástico holguinero.

The insufficient knowledge about personalities that stand out in the artistic panorama of different regions of our country, was the point of departure, which allowed establishing as a research purpose, to make an approach to the life and work of two of the most consecrated instructors of Plastic Arts of the province of Holguín: Margarita Rodríguez Castellanos and Pedro Pablo Biens Carballo. The history of life method governed the entire investigative process and conceived the necessary elements for the collection of information that allowed the preparation of the document. The work involved searching for the concrete links that were found between written, oral and material documentary sources. In this sense, the interview was fundamental for the development of the research. The main result consisted in the elaboration of a content material of the history of life of these creative instructors, which constituted a feasible way to elevate the knowledge about their life and work, at the same time that served as recognition of his dedication in the field of artistic instruction. It was based on the criterion that the work carried out by them turned them into paradigms of culture and that they made unquestionable contributions to the enrichment of the movement plastic Holguin.
