Algunas consideraciones acerca de los contenidos socioculturales en la enseñanza de español como lengua extranjera

Abstract

Los autores trataron el español como una de las lenguas más habladas en el mundo y una de las más importantes, en tanto infinidad de personas no hispanohablantes se interesan en su estudio. El objetivo de este trabajo consistió en mostrar la trascendencia de los contenidos socioculturales en el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en español como lengua extranjera. Señalaron que el componente sociocultural no es una adición, sino una parte esencial de la clase que se trabaja integralmente y que va más allá del aula. Plantearon que el aprendizaje de este como lengua extranjera conlleva al conocimiento de la cultura de la comunidad hispanohablante, para ello se trabaja con dicho componente, que es uno de los principales aspectos a tener en cuenta. Expresaron que el mismo es decisivo en innumerables situaciones comunicativas y tiene incidencia directa en el logro de una adecuada competencia comunicativa. Enfatizaron que las formas lingüísticas interactúan con los distintos elementos culturales para - en franca comunión - cumplir el objetivo del estudio de la lengua extranjera. Los articulistas concluyeron que en la actualidad se enfatiza en este enfoque didáctico, a partir del cual se presentaron sus consideraciones.

The authors treated Spanish as one of the most spoken languages in the world and one of the most important ones; due to a great amount of non-Spanish-speakers people are interested in its study. The objective of this work consisted on showing the transcendence of the sociocultural contents in the development of the communicative competence in Spanish as a foreign language. They pointed out that the sociocultural component is not an addition, but an essential part of the class that one works integrally and that he/she goes beyond the classroom. They outlined that learning Spanish as a foreign language bears to the knowledge of the culture of the Spanish-speaking community, for that reason one works with this component that is one of the main aspects to keep in mind. They expressed that this component is very decisive in countless communicative situations and it has a direct incidence in the achievement of an appropriate communicative competence. They emphasized that the linguistic forms interact with the different cultural elements to - in frank communion - complete the objective of the study of the foreign language. The authors of this article concluded that nowadays it is emphasized in this didactical approach, from which their considerations were presented.
