El Vínculo teoría-práctica: su importancia en la formación del Ingeniero en Comercio Exterior

Abstract

La Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabí (ULEAM), está formando profesionales especialistas en el campo del Comercio Exterior para desarrollar iniciativas empresariales que promuevan el comercio local e internacional, ello implica reforzar en el proceso formativo el vínculo teoría-práctica. Una revisión al referido proceso de formación mediante algunos métodos empíricos como: encuestas a estudiantes y empresarios, revisión de documentos y la propia experiencia del autor, develó que existen limitaciones en tal sentido. En este artículo, se fundamentó la importancia del vínculo teoría-práctica en la formación inicial del ingeniero en Comercio Exterior, así como, algunas recomendaciones para encaminar tareas docentes, que sitúen al estudiante como el principal promotor del vínculo teoría-práctica desde el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje universitario.

The University "Eloy Alfaro" from Manabi (ULEAM) is forming specialists in the field of foreign trade, to develop business initiatives that promote local and international trade, this means strengthening the relationship between theory and practice in the training process. A revision based on the training process by some empirical methods such as surveys to students and businessmen, document review and the experience of the author, revealed that there are limitations in this regard. In this article was evidenced the importance of this relationship between theory and the initial training in the foreign trade engineer, as well as some recommendations for directing teaching tasks that place the student as the main promoter of the theory-practice relationship, from the teaching-learning process in the university.
