La Supervisión educativa al Programa de Libre Escolaridad en los pueblos indígenas del Estado Amazonas

Abstract

Este trabajo tuvo como objetivo el análisis de la necesidad de contextualización de la supervisión educativa al Programa de Libre Escolaridad en el Estado Amazonas, así como de la preparación de los supervisores para elevar la calidad del mismo. Como métodos de investigación se utilizaron fundamentalmente: el histórico-lógico, el de análisis-síntesis y la entrevista a supervisores que desarrollaron su labor en la región amazónica de Venezuela. Todo esto posibilitó la triangulación metodológica de la información. Se refirieron las características propias del Programa y de los municipios del referido Estado donde este se ejecutó, lo que demostró, por una parte, la necesidad de mantenerlo y ampliarlo, elevando su calidad, y, por otra, las condiciones que obstaculizaron la supervisión educativa como vía para la mejora, como fueron las dificultades de acceso a la región y las diferentes tradiciones, costumbres e idiomas propios de cada pueblo. Se arribó a la conclusión que las especificidades de la supervisión educativa al expresado Programa en el Estado Amazonas, y las carencias teóricas y prácticas obtenidas a través de la investigación, corroboraron la necesidad de búsqueda de alternativas que propicien la mejora de la supervisión educativa a este Programa en los pueblos indígenas del Estado en cuestión.

The work was carried out taking into consideration two objectives: evaluating the need of contextualizing educational supervision to the Program of Liberal Studies in the Amazons State, as well as the training of the supervisors to foster the quality of such program. The methods used in the development of the research were the Case Study, synthesis-analysis, and interviews to supervisors who developed their education and instruction in the Amazonic region of Venezuela. The use of such methods made it possible the methodological triangulation of information. The results yielded referred to the characteristic features of the Program and of the Amazons municipalities, where the experiment was applied. The results obtained showed not only the necessity to maintain it and to enlarge it, increasing its quality, but it also showed the conditions that hindered educational supervision as a way of improvement, as for example, the difficulties in commuting to the region, each peoples ́ characteristic traditions, customs and languages.The conclusions arrived at brought about some specifications of educational supervision to the Program of Liberal Studies in the Amazons State; the lack of theoretical and practical basis unveiled through the research process, confirmed the necessity of search for alternatives that my contribute to the improvement of the educational supervision to the Program of Liberal Studies applied to the education of the aboriginepeoples in the Amazons State.
