El Espíritu transformador y creador del proyecto educacional del maestro cubano Luz y Caballero IX

Abstract

Los resultados expuestos en este artículo dan continuidad al estudio presentado en números anteriores de esta revista sobre el espíritu transformador y creador del proyecto educacional del maestro cubano José de la Luz y Caballero. El objetivo del trabajo es revelar las particularidades del proceso de desarticulación del eclecticismo y sus contribuciones al desarrollo de la educación patriótica y la enseñanza de la filosofía, realizada por el gran educador cubano mediante los artículos filosóficos publicados durante los meses de mayo a julio de 1840. El artículo presentado refleja el brillante desarrollo de la conceptualización filosófica durante su confrontación ideológica con los representantes del eclecticismo. El texto resalta la profundización teórica alcanzada por Luz al debatir con sus oponentes problemas pedagógicos, sociales, políticos, éticos, estéticos, psicológicos, teológicos, de las ciencias naturales, el método, etc., para contribuir a la consolidación de un pensamiento filosófico auténticamente cubano.

The results exposed in this article follow the study presented in previous issues of this journal on the transforming and creative spirit of the educational project of the Cuban teacher José de la Luz y Caballero. This article aims at revealing the characteristics of the process of disarticulation of the then-current eclecticism, and its contributions to the patriotic education and the teaching of Philosophy, developed by the Cuban educator through philosophic articles published from May to July of 1840. This article reflects the great development of his philosophic conception during his ideological confrontation with the representatives of eclecticism. This work highlights the advanced theoretical thought reached by Luz at debating different issues with his opponents, regarding the following topics: pedagogical, social, political, theological, ethical, aesthetical, psychological, the natural sciences, the method, etc., to contribute consolidating a genuine Cuban philosophical thought.
