Aplicación del procedimiento para la gestión integrada y proactiva de las restricciones físicas en el Hotel RIU Playa Turquesa

Abstract

El turismo en la oriental provincia de Holguín registró un crecimiento del 2,0% en el 2012, siendo la temporada alta como el período de mayor número de clientes en las instalaciones del sector, para el 2013 pronostica un 5,1% de crecimiento en Cuba. RIU Playa Turquesa a pesar de ser el cuarto más popular de los hoteles y resorts en Holguín, presenta deficiencia en su gestión integral. Esto asevera la necesidad que tiene de perfeccionar su flujo logístico, afectado mayormente por la capacidad restrictiva de sus recursos en los distintos procesos. El trabajo de diploma presentado tiene como objetivo aplicar un procedimiento que asegure la concepción integrada y proactiva de la gestión de las restricciones físicas en el Hotel RIU Playa Turquesa contribuyendo a mejorar sus niveles de eficiencia y eficacia. Como resultados se propone el uso de TIC 1 para pronosticar acertadamente la demanda; se elaboraron alternativas para elevar la capacidad del flujo logístico, generando ahorros de gran impacto para los indicadores económicos con la disminución de volúmenes de compra de insumos no restrictivos, organización del trabajo y estrategia de capacidad para la restricción subordinadora. Se valora la restricción subordinadora futura desde un punto de vista sistémico con la creación de escenarios partiendo de las preferencias de segmentos del mercado. Se crearon instrumentos de control para gestionar la calidad en servicios de alojamiento y alimentos y bebidas. Los indicadores de control dotan a la organización de un instrumento para medir cuánto se beneficia el sistema con el procedimiento propuesto.

The tourism in the oriental county of Holguín registered a growth of 2,0% in the 2012, being the high season as the period of more number of clients in the facilities of the sector, for the 2013 predicts 5,1% of growth in Cuba. RIU Turquoise Beach in spite of being the most popular room in the hotels and resorts in Holguín, presents deficiency in its integral administration. This asserts the necessity that has of perfecting their logistical flow, affected mostly by the restrictive capacity of their resources in the different processes. The work of presented diploma has as objective to apply a procedure that assures the integrated conception and proactive of the administration of the physical restrictions in the Hotel RIU Turquoise Beach contributing to improve its levels of efficiency and effectiveness. As results intends the use of TIC to predict the demand wisely; alternatives were elaborated to elevate the capacity of the logistical flow, generating savings of great impact for the economic indicators with the decrease of volumes of purchase of non restrictive inputs, organization of the work and strategy of capacity for the restriction subordinate. The restriction future subordinate is valued from a systemic point of view with the creation of scenarios leaving of the preferences of segments of the market. Control instruments were created to negotiate the quality in lodging services and foods and drinks. The control indicators endow to the organization of an instrument to measure how much the system benefits with the proposed procedure.
