Diseño del sistema de gestión de inventario en la Unidad Básica Comercializadora perteneciente a la Empresa de Aseguramiento a la Educación de Holguín

Abstract

Para todas las empresas comercializadoras cualquier decisión acerca de los niveles de inventario a mantener tiene una esencia económica y trata de establecer un balance adecuado entre el nivel de servicio que desea prestar y los costos que se generan en el proceso. La presente investigación persigue como objetivo fundamental la aplicación parcial de un procedimiento para el diseño de la gestión de inventario en la Unidad Básica Comercializadora perteneciente a la Empresa de Aseguramiento a la Educación de Holguín que contribuya a garantizar una mayor fiabilidad de los inventarios y disminución de los costos asociados. Para dar cumplimiento a este objetivo propuesto se adapta un procedimiento a las características de la empresa, se diagnostican las deficiencias existentes en la gestión de inventario y se realiza el diseño de este sistema estableciendo los niveles de inventario - promedio y seguridad- que contribuyan a un menor costo de ruptura de stock. Se emplearon métodos teóricos como el análisis y síntesis de la información, inductivo - deductivo, analítico - sintético, además métodos empíricos tales como observación directa, entrevistas y revisión de documentos. Su aplicación sistémica permitió el desarrollo exitoso de las diferentes etapas de la investigación para el alcance de los resultados previstos.

For all trader companies any decision about the inventory levels to maintain has an economic essence and it tries to establish an appropriate balance among the level service that it wants to lend and the costs that are generated in the process. The present investigation pursues as fundamental objective the partial application of a procedure for the design of the inventory administration in the Basic Trader Unit belonging to the Insurance Company to the Education of Holguin that contributes to guarantee a bigger reliability of the inventories and decrease of the associate costs. To give execution to this proposed objective a procedure is adapted to the characteristics of the company, the existent deficiencies are diagnosed in the inventory administration and it carried out the design of the system, establishing the levels of inventory -average and security - that contributed at a smaller cost of stock rupture. Theoretical methods were used as the analysis and synthesis of the information, inductive - deductive, analytic - synthetic, also such empiric methods as directed observation, interviews and revision of documents. Their systemic application allowed the successful development of the different stages of the investigation in order to obtain the foreseen results.
