Zonificación Edafoclimática para la ganadería del municipio Urbano Noris (Holguín, cuba)

Abstract

El objetivo del trabajo fue realizar la zonificación edafoclimática para la ganadería del municipio Urbano Noris (Holguín, Cuba), empleando sistemas de información geográfica al mapificar variables del terreno, climáticas y edáficas. Se empleó el software DIVA-GIS para elaborar la matriz de distancia por el método de Jaccard tratando los datos de las celdas con valor igual o mayor a uno como presencias y el resto como ausencias, con la cual se construyó el dendrograma con una línea de corte al 30 % de la escala y a partir de éste la rejilla edafoclimática; se extrajeron del catastro rural municipal los centroides de las parcelas en uso pecuario y los valores edafoclimáticos zonificados correspondientes para con el apoyo del visor HSWD, determinar el tipo de suelo predominante. Se identificaron 3 zonas edafoclimáticas que muestran diferencias en cuanto a tipo de suelo, precipitación del periodo poco lluvioso, salinidad, fertilidad, carbono orgánico, profundidad y pendiente, todo lo cual permitirá la regionalización precisa de los recursos fito y zoogenéticos para la ganadería, acorde a las características descritas en la zonificación.

The objective of work was to accomplish the zoning edafoclimática for the cattle raising of the municipality Urbano Noris (Holguín, Cuba ), using information systems geographic to the mapificar variable of the lot, climatic and edáficas. Edafoclimáticas that show differences as to type of ground, precipitation of the little rainy period, salinity, fertility, organic carbon, depth and slope to, all which the precise regionalization of the resources will allow fito and zoogenéticos for cattle raising, in agreement the characteristics described in zoning identified 3 zones themselves.
