Emilio Ballagas, poeta de la sensualidad

Abstract

El artículo trata sobre una aproximación a los tres poemarios publicados por Emilio Ballagas (1908-1954) durante los años treinta, en los que se observa la relación hombre-naturaleza y la relación interpersonal amorosa, a través de lo sensual. El valor educacional del presente trabajo radica en mostrar, a los docentes que imparten Literatura Cubana, una forma de enfocar el aspecto de la sensualidad en la poética de este autor.

The present article deals with an approach to the p oetry books published by Cuban poet Emilio Ballagas (1908-1954) during the 1930’s. In his three main books that appeared in those years the reader can find the relationship between man and nature as well as love relation through the poet’s keen understanding and expression of the sensuous element. The educational value of this work is that it shows how to deal with a difficult issue such as sensuality, helping teacher of Cuban literature to focus this aspect in a better way.
