Ángel Augier y la poesía de la acción

Abstract

Se demuestra que la vida de Ángel Augier (Holguín, 1910) ha transitado por diferentes acontecimientos de la historia nacional y los ha dejado como testimonio poético a lo largo de su obra; se analiza la tesis del autor expuesta en su ensayo Cuba: una poesía de la acción, donde demuestra cómo los principales poetas cubanos testimonian la acción nacional más inmediata a través de sus poesías.

The article intends to demonstrate that the life of Augier Angel, (Holguín, 1910) has journeyed throughout different events of the national history and has transofrmed them into poetic testimony in his work; it also analyzes the thesis of the author exposed in his Cuba: a poetry of action, where he emonstrates how the main Cuban poets attest the immediate national action through their poems.
