Sugerencias para la creación de sitios Webs en Educación

Abstract

En el artículo se abordan sugerencias relacionadas con la creación de las páginas Web educativas como un recurso didáctico para el tratamiento de contenidos de las diferentes asignaturas. El papel de los docentes en estos momentos es ayudar a los estudiantes a "aprender a aprender" de manera autónoma y promover su desarrollo cognitivo y personal mediante actividades críticas y aplicativas, aprovechando la inmensa información disponible y las potentes herramientas de la Tecnología de la Información y las Comunicaciones (TIC). Los sitios Webs que se elaboren con ese fin educativo deben cumplir algunos requerimientos desde puntos de vista técnicos, estéticos y didácticos, para contribuir a que los alumnos construyan su propio conocimiento y no se limiten a realizar simplemente la recepción pasiva y la memorización de la información.

The article deals with suggestions aimed at the creation of educational Web pages, as a didactic resource for the treatment of the contents from the different subjects students take. The role of the teachers is to help students in “learning to learn” in an autonomous way, promoting their personal and cognitive development through activities at the critical and applicative levels, exploiting the vast information available and the powerful tools of communication and information. Web sites elaborated to this end, must follow some requirements from the technical, aesthetical, and didactic points of view, in an attempt to assist the students in the construction of their own knowledge, without a limited passive reception and fruitless memorization of information.
