Acercamiento a las relaciones Martí- Gómez desde su correspondencia (1877- 1884)

Abstract

El epistolario martiano y el de Gómez constituyen una valiosa fuente de información sobre las concepciones ideológicas y políticas de ellos. Reflejan una época, sus ideas y el contexto social que las determina en última instancia. En sus cartas cruzadas se revelan sus aspiraciones, sueños y sentimientos de lo que debe ser el Estado- nación en una Cuba independiente. Se revelan criterios divergentes entorno a la dirección, la táctica, la estrategia, recelos entre los hombres y líderes que en determinados momentos paralizaron o entorpecieron la lucha independentistas. En la investigación se hizo análisis de la carta de 1877, 1882 y 1884 enviadas por Martí a Gómez, así como, las respuestas que dio Gómez en 1882 y la nota que escribió sobre la de 1884

Martí’s and Góme z epistola ry are a valuable source information on their ideological and political views. They reflect a time, their ideas and the social context hat ultimately determines them. In their crossed letters reveal their aspirations, dreams and feelings of what must be the nation-state in an independent Cuba. Divergent criteria are revealed around the leadership, tactics, and strategy, apprehensions among men and leaders who at certain moments paralyzed or hindered the struggle for independence. In the investigation was made the analysis of the letter of 1877, 1882 and 1884 sent by Martí to Gómez, as well as, the answers that Gómez gave in 1882 and the note he wrote about 1884 was made.
