José Martí y la Guerra Chiquita

Abstract

El presente artículo aborda la posición asumida por José Martí durante el desarrollo de la Guerra Chiquita. Los autores ofrecen una valoración a partir del análisis de algunas circulares, proclamas y cartas emitidas por Martí, en torno a este hecho histórico, finalmente nos dan a conocer las enseñanzas de la Guerra Chiquita para la preparación de la nueva gesta liberadora.

This article deals with the position taken by José Martí during the events of the Chiquita War. The authors provide some points of view from the analisis of various documents and letters written by Martí about this important historical event, finally the article reveals some of the teachings of the Chiquita War for the preparing of the new liberation movement.
