El Vidrio triturado como alternativa en la producción de materiales de construcción

Abstract

Una de las líneas de trabajo del gobierno en los territorios, constituye mejorar las condiciones de vida de la población. Es por ello que minimizar las afectaciones medioambientales generadas por la disposición inadecuada de residuos, así como el mejoramiento del fondo habitacional representan prioridades que repercuten en la calidad de vida de los habitantes. Tal es el caso del municipio Holguín, donde más del 50 % de las viviendas se encuentran en regular y mal estado técnico. En ello ha incidido el déficit de áridos por parte de la industria por insuficiente capacidad tecnológica. Sin embargo, existen limitaciones en la cultura de los directivos de las empresas constructoras en la utilización de materiales alternativos como el vidrio triturado como material de construcción y ausencia de proyectos de desarrollo local que trabajen esta problemática. Es por ello, que, en la presente investigación se evalúa el comportamiento del vidrio triturado como agregado para la producción de materiales de construcción a partir de sus potencialidades físicas y mecánicas, que permita su aprovechamiento en el Programa de la vivienda en el municipio Holguín. Los resultados permitirán contar con un documento para la toma de decisiones que contribuya al mejoramiento del fondo habitacional. Para su desarrollo se aplicaron métodos de investigación del nivel teórico, empírico y estadístico, que permitieron constatar las insuficiencias y valorar la factibilidad de los aportes de la investigación. Igualmente, el asiento bibliográfico se desarrolló a partir de las normas APA. One of the lines of the government's work in the territories, constitutes to improve the conditions of the population's life. It is for it that to minimize the environmental affectations generated by the inadequate disposition of residuals, as well as the improvement of the residence bottom represents priorities that rebound in the quality of the inhabitants' life. Such it is the case of the municipality Holguín, where more than 50 % of the housings they are in regular and not well technical state. In it has impacted it the deficit of arid on the part of the industry for insufficient technological capacity. However, limitations exist in the culture of the directive of the companies’ manufacturers in the use of alternative materials as the glass crushed as construction material and absence of projects of local development that work this problem. It is for it that, in the present investigation the behavior of the glass is evaluated crushed as attaché for the production of construction materials starting from its physical and mechanical potentialities that it allows its use in the Program of the housing in the municipality Holguín. The results will allow to have a document for the taking of decisions that it contributes to the improvement of the residence bottom. For their development methods of investigation of the theoretical, empiric and statistical level were applied that allowed to verify the inadequacies and to value the feasibility of the contributions of the investigation. Equally, the bibliographical seat was developed starting from the norms APA.
