La infografía en el tratamiento de temas históricos en el canal Gibaravisión

Abstract

La televisión se ha convertido en uno de los medios preferidos por la mayoría de los ciudadanos para informarse. Hoy se puede notar su funcionalidad al ver cómo este incide directamente en la cultura social de los públicos. La infografía en la prensa impresa ha tenido una evolución mucho más importante debido a la necesidad que han tenido estos medios de potenciar la comunicación visual. En cambio, en el medio audiovisual, al que le es innato el uso de la imagen, el proceso de evolución parece mucho más lento. Por otra parte, constituye un eje estratégico del Sistema de la Televisión Cubana abordar la historia nacional, sobre todo la local, en los telecentros; objetivo que puede resultar difícil de graficar por la falta de imágenes en las videotecas de los hechos ocurridos en el pasado. Es ante esta situación donde la infografía audiovisual se presenta abriendo un espectro de opciones, a nuevos trabajos periodísticos. Motivo por el cual esta tesis se propone utilizar la infografía audiovisual en el tratamiento de temáticas históricas a través de la creación de una sección para el principal noticiero del canal comunitario Gibaravisión. En la presente investigación, compuesta por dos capítulos, se establecen los antecedentes históricos de la infografía periodística; se determinan los referentes teórico-metodológicos que sustentan las temáticas históricas en la infografía periodística audiovisual y se analizan las potencialidades y deficiencias del canal Gibaravisión en el empleo de infografías periodísticas. Además, se detalla el proceso de producción de la sección, la cual puede servir de modelo para otros telecentros con condiciones similares.

Television is increasingly being one the preferred media by the majority of the world atizens as an informative source. Today it can be observed how it, satisfies the user´s requirements functionally and directly in the social culture of the population. Infographics in the printing press has had an evolution much more important, due to the necessity these media have had to enrich the visual communication, nevertheless in the audiovisual medium, which is inherit the usage of the images, the process of evolution seems to be slower. Besides it constitute a strategic axis of the Cuban Television System to approach the national history, above all, the local TV broadcasting. These objective can be difficult to graph for the lack of images of past events in the videotechs beforehand this presented to open a wide spectrum of options to wand new informative sources. That´s why this project has a proposal to use the audiovisual infographics in the treatment of historical themes through the creation of a section for the main news broadcasting in Communitary Gibaravision Channel. This investigation is divided into two chapters; it´s established the historic antecedents of the journalistic infographics; it´s determined the theoretical and methodological references that give support to the historical themes in the audiovisual journalistic infographics and it´s analyzed the potenciality and deficiencies in its usage in Gibaravision Channel moreover, its detailed the production process of the section that may be used as a modelfor ather local broadcasting channels with similar characteristics.
