Estudio comparativo de dos variedades de tomate (Solanum lycopersicum, L.) bajo condiciones de cultivo protegido

Abstract

Con el objetivo de comparar morfoagronómicamente dos variedades de tomate bajo condiciones de cultivos protegidos se realizó un experimento en el período noviembre de 2019 a marzo 2020 en las casas de cultivo No 1 y 2 ubicadas en el Valle de Mayabe, perteneciente a la Empresa Hortícola “Wilfredo Peña”, municipio Holguín, provincia Holguín, Cuba, en plantas de tomate variedades Tessera y LTM-12 en condiciones controladas de luz, humedad relativa y del suelo, fertilización y control fitosanitario. Se evaluaron indicadores morfológicos tales como altura de la planta, diámetro del tallo, número de ramas y número de hojas, número de racimos por planta, así como los componentes del rendimiento y rendimiento total y por categorías. Se utilizó un diseño de muestreo poblacional y para procesar los datos se realizaron análisis de varianza. Estos resultados indican que el comportamiento de las variables vegetativas en las variedades estudiadas tuvo diferencias, destacándose la variedad Tessera que mostró mejor comportamiento en relación a la variedad LTM-12. En cuanto a las variables reproductivas, el mejor comportamiento lo obtuvo la variedad Tessera que sobresale en los resultados en las tres variables con respecto a la otra variedad.

For the sake ofmorphagronomical comparing two varieties of tomato in conditions of protected cultivations accomplished it the experiment, in the period of November 2019 to March 2020, at the houses of cultivation 1 and 2 of theEmpresa Hortícola “Wilfredo Peña”, located at Valle de Mayabe, municipality Holguín, province Holguín, Cuba, in the varieties of tomato Tessera and LTM 12, in conditions controlled of light, relative humidity, ground, fertilization and plant health check. It was evaluated morphologic indicators such like height of the plant, diameter of the stem, number of branches and number of sheets, number of bunches for plant, as well as the performance's components and total return and for categories. A poblacional sampling was utilized and it accomplished analysis of variance to process data. These results suggest that the behavior of the vegetative variables in the studied varieties had differences, standing out variety Tessera that it showed better behavior in relation to the LTM-12 variety´s. As to the reproductive variables, the best behavior obtained it variety Tessera that it is prominent in the results in the three variables with regard to the other variety.
