Evaluación de diferentes dosis de zeolita como aditivo alimentario en el comportamiento productivo de gallinas ponedoras

Abstract

La investigación se realizó en la granja avícola Frank País García ubicada en el municipio de Moa, Holguín; con el objetivo de evaluar diferentes dosis zeolita como aditivo alimentario en el comportamiento productivo de gallinas ponedoras. Para el experimento se evaluaron un total de 96 gallinas de la raza White Leghorn L-33, de 5 meses como ponedoras y en buen estado de salud. Se utilizó un diseño experimental completamente aleatorizado con 4 tratamientos de 24 animales cada uno: tratamiento 0 grupo control, a los grupos 1, 2 y 3 se le adicionaron 1,5%, 2,5% y 3,5% de zeolita respectivamente en el alimento una vez al día durante 30 días. Los indicadores evaluados fueron: huevos sucios, cascados, enfárfara, huevos sanos, peso del huevo y total de huevos/día. Los datos se procesaron utilizando el paquete estadístico InfoStat versión 2015 de Di Rienzo. Se realizó análisis de varianza simple y donde hubo diferencias significativas se aplicó la prueba de comparaciones múltiples de medias Duncan para un nivel de significación de P ≤ 0.05. Con la adición del 2,5 % y 3,5 % de zeolita se lograron mejores resultados, mostrando diferencias significativas respecto al grupo control en cuanto a huevos sanos, cascados, enfárfara, huevos sucios y total de huevos/día; sin embargo en el peso del huevo no existieron diferencias significativas en ninguno de los tratamientos. La utilización de estos niveles de zeolita en la dieta, son una alternativa viable para incrementar los rendimientos productivos en las gallinas ponedoras. Económicamente podemos decir que teniendo en cuenta los huevos sanos dejados de producir se están dejando de obtener ganancias en la granja de $ 4567 y por el total de huevo/día $ 5784; de ahí que sea esta una vía para incrementar las producciones y los ingresos monetarios a la granja.

The research was carried out at the Frank País García poultry farm located in the municipality of Moa, Holguín; with the aim of evaluating different doses of zeolite as a food additive in the productive behavior of laying hens. For the experiment, a total of 96 hens of the White Leghorn L-33 breed, 5 months old, were evaluated as laying hens and in good health. A completely randomized experimental design was used with 4 treatments of 24 animals each: treatment 0 control group, to groups 1, 2 and 3 1.5%, 2.5% and 3.5% of zeolite were added respectively in food once a day for 30 days. The indicators evaluated were: dirty eggs, cracked eggs, apricot, healthy eggs, egg weight and total eggs / day. The data was processed using the Info Stat statistical package version 2015 of Di Rienzo. Simple analysis of variance was performed and where there were significant differences, the Duncan multiple comparison tests of means was applied for a significance level of P ≤ 0.05. With the addition of 2.5% and 3.5% of zeolite, better results were achieved, showing significant differences with respect to the control group in terms of healthy eggs, cracked eggs, green eggs, dirty eggs and total number of eggs / day; however, there was no significant difference in egg weight in any of the treatments. The use of these levels of zeolite in the diet is a viable alternative to increase the productive yields in laying hens. Economically we can say that taking into account the healthy eggs that are not produced, we are not making profits on the farm of $ 4,567 and for the total of egg / day $ 5784; hence this is a way to increase production and monetary income to the farm.
