La Ciencia y la técnica en La Edad de Oro

Abstract

La Edad de Oro, clásico de la literatura para niños, fruto de la suprema madurez del pensamiento de José Martí, puesta al servicio de la niñez y la juventud americanas dados sus propósitos instructivos y educativos, no estuvo ajena al desarrollo científico-técnico alcanzado en el devenir histórico, sobre todo en los adelantos de la década del 80 del siglo XIX, del cual Martí fue un testigo excepcional. Dicha revista expresa el anhelo martiano de que los niños se cautiven ante los descubrimientos como la electricidad y muchas tecnologías de las diversas ramas del conocimiento humano con la finalidad de despertar el interés por transformar el mundo en que viven. Este trabajo tiene como propósito incentivar en maestros y especialistas el interés de ofrecer a los niños, adolescentes y jóvenes ese caudal de conocimientos sobre la ciencia y la técnica para hacer realidad el gran sueño del Maestro de poblar la tierra de un nuevo tipo de hombre, preparado para vivir productivamente en ella.

The Golden Age, clasic of the literature for children and also the result of the highest level of thought of our Joseph Marti, easily to reach by children and young people because of its instructive and educative purposes, it wasn´t unawre to technical-scientific development that was achieved through, the whole historical process and above all in the advances occurred in the 80´s in ninety century, from which Martí was exceptional witness. This magazine expresses Martí´s wish that all children get amazed abaut those discoveries like the electricity and the technology of the several branches of the human knowledge, with the aim of arousine the interest in changine the world they live in. This work has as its purpose to stimulate teachers and specialistists´s interest of giving to the children, teenagers and young people that source of knowledge abaut science and technics for turning into reality Martí biggest dream that was to settle the Earth of a new kind of man who is ready to live productively in it.
