    Abstract
    En el trabajo se expone mediante ideas avaladas por fragmentos de textos literarios, cómo la magnífica obra El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, que no fue concebida para los niños, hoy forma parte de la serie literaria infantil, representada en los programas de Lengua Española de 3ro y 6to grados de la Enseñanza Primaria, gracias a la labor creativa y promocional de escritores de diferentes latitudes.
     
    In this work it is exposed, throughout ideas which are supported by pieces of literary texts, how the magnificent masterpiece El ingenioso hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha, which was not written for children, nowadays it is part of the children`s literary series that is represented in Spanish Language`s programs for 3rd and 6th grades of the Elementary school, and that it is possible thanks to the creative and promotional work made by authors from different parts of the world.
