Procedimiento para la construcción de la vivienda social rural con bambú

Abstract

El déficit de vivienda adecuada en el mundo representa una amenaza para la supervivencia y bienestar del ser humano, principalmente para los pobladores rurales, lo cual viene agravado por la constante aparición de fenómenos naturales e incide negativamente en la permanencia del fondo habitacional. Es por ello que el ser humano está siempre en la búsqueda de nuevas soluciones a sus necesidades más básicas y, en consecuencia, respuestas prácticas y económicas. En Cuba a pesar de tener tradición constructiva mediante la utilización de recursos maderables, no se ha logrado incorporar al bambú como material de construcción de la vivienda social rural. Por tal razón, se realiza un análisis de las principales tecnologías que son empleadas en la construcción y en particular en Cuba y las formas más apropiadas de construir una vivienda a partir del uso de este material. El estudio realizado muestra la necesidad de contar con una herramienta que guíe a la población rural en el proceso de producción y construcción de viviendas con bambú. Para ello se realizó un procedimiento que tiene en cuenta las principales técnicas empleadas y muestra el camino a seguir en la construcción de una vivienda rural con bambú a partir de especies existentes en Cuba. The deficit of houses in the world represents a threat for survival and well-being of the human kind, especially for the rural habitants, this is also aggravated with the appearing of natural phenomenal and it has a negative effect on the permanence of the housing fund. Reason why, the human being is always in the search of new solutions to his most basic needs and in consequence, practical and cost-reducing answers. Cuba has the tradition in the utilization of wood resources, but it has failed on the introduction of bamboo techniques and the use of this product as the construction material. The investigation shows the necessity of having a tool that guide the rural population in the process of production to the residential construction with bamboo. Having studied the problem matter, the author offers a procedure that takes into account the principal used techniques and provides a pat to follow in the construction of a rural house with bamboo.
