Evaluación del desempeño productivo en crías porcinas utilizando la zeolita como aditivo

Abstract

La investigación se realizó en la UEB Cuba Sí 3, perteneciente a La Empresa Porcina de Holguín; con el objetivo de evaluar el desempeño productivo de crías porcinas utilizando diferentes niveles de Zeolita como aditivo en la alimentación. Para el estudio se evaluaron 40 cerdos de diez días de edad durante 30 días; se dividieron en cuatro grupos de 10 por tratamiento. Un grupo testigo y a los grupos 1, 2 y 3 se le suministró 1,5%, 3% y 4,5% de Zeolita respectivamente como aditivo en el alimento una vez al día. Durante la investigación se evaluó el peso inicial, la ganancia media diaria (GMD) y el peso final. Para el procesamiento de los datos se utilizó el paquete estadístico InfoStat versión 2015 de Di Rienzo. Se realizó análisis de varianza de clasificación simple, donde hubo diferencias significativas y se aplicó la prueba de comparaciones múltiples de medias Duncan para un nivel de significación de P ≤ 0.05. En los indicadores evaluados hubo diferencias significativas en la GMD y en el peso final de los grupos tratados con respecto al testigo, siendo el tratamiento 3 el que mostró mejores resultados. Económicamente fue factible y viable el estudio debido a que se logró un incremento de peso favorable y con ello ingresos de $3411,9. Los resultados obtenidos demostraron que todavía existen problemas en el manejo de la alimentación, lo que incide negativamente en alcanzar el potencial productivo de esta categoría zootécnica.

The investigation was carried out at the UEB Cuba Sí 3, belonging to the Holguin Pig Company; with the objective of evaluating the productive performance of pigs using different levels of Zeolite as a feed additive. For the study, 40 10-day-old pigs were evaluated for 30 days; they were divided into four groups of 10 per treatment. A control group and groups 1, 2 and 3 were given 1.5%, 3% and 4.5% of zeolite respectively as a food additive once a day. During the investigation the initial weight, the average daily gain (GMD) and the final weight were evaluated. For the data processing, the statistical package Info Stat version 2015 of Di Rienzo was used. A simple classification analysis of variance was carried out and where there were significant differences, the Duncan multiple comparison test of means was applied for a significance level of P ≤ 0.05. In the evaluated indicators there were significant differences in the GMD and in the final weight of the treated groups with respect to the control, with treatment 3 showing the best results. Economically, the study was feasible and feasible due to the fact that a favorable weight gain was achieved and with it income of $ 3411.9. The results obtained showed that there are still problems in feeding management, which negatively affects the productive potential of this zootechnical category.
