Personajes con discapacidades físico-motoras en la literatura infantil. Su aprovechamiento en la Educación Especial

Abstract

Este trabajo es resultado de la experiencia de sus autores en la impartición de la asignatura Literatura Infantil. Se aplicaron métodos como el análisis documental, el análisis -síntesis, la inducción-deducción y el histórico -lógico. El análisis documental permitió obtener datos acerca de los escritores y el tratamiento que reciben personajes discapacitados en sus creaciones. La identificación de los rasgos característicos de la narrativa infantil arrojó cuestiones interesantes, relacionadas con las condiciones prevalecientes en las épocas a las que pertenecen. Las entrevistas y encuestas a docentes y a estudiantes de la carrera dieron la posibilidad de enriquecer el trabajo de estos profesionales en su contexto educativo; con lo que se contribuye al cumplimiento del objetivo: determinar el tratamiento que reciben los personajes con limitaciones físico -motoras en creaciones del danés Hans Christian Andersen y la cubana Dora Alonso, para enriquecer el trabajo de los profesionales de la Educación Especial en su contexto educativo.

This work results from its authors’ experience in the teaching of the subject Children’s Literature. The following methods were applied: documentary analysis, analysis-synthesis, induction -deduction and historical-logical analysis. The documentary analysis allowed obtaining data about the writers and how they deal with disabled characters in their works. The identification of the characteristic features of the children’s narrative brought about interesting issues, related with the prevailing conditions in the epochs they belong to. The interviews and opinion polls to teachers and to students of the degree course yielded the possibility to enrich the work of these professionals in their educational context; all of these facts led to the fulfillment of the objective: Determining the treatment that the characters with physical and motile disabilities receive in the works of the Danish author Hans Christian Andersen and the Cuban authoress Dora Alonso, in order to improve the work of the professionals of the Special Education in their educational context.
