Propuesta para el establecimiento de Pithecelobium dulce (Roxb.) Benth. (guinga) en sistemas silvopastoriles de la CCS Eugenio González del municipio de Holguín

Abstract

La investigación tuvo como objetivo diseñar y establecer los usos de Pithecelobium dulce (Roxb.) Benth. (guinga) en sistemas silvopastoriles de la CCS “Eugenio González” del municipio Holguín. Se establecieron como sistemas silvopastoriles las cercas vivas multiestrato y la distribución de árboles de potrero. La especie Pithecelobium dulce se encontró en buen estado morfofisiológico, mostró excelente adaptación a las condiciones de suelo y clima y se encontró distribuida de forma equitativa en la Finca La Margarita perteneciente a la CCS “Eugenio González”. Se elaboró un plan de manejo para la especie en estudio asociada a otras arbustivas promisorias para alimento animal en esta finca, la cual se encuentra ubicada en la región sur del municipio de Holguín perteneciente a la Cuenca del río Cauto.

The research aimed to design and establish the uses of Pithecelobium dulce (Roxb.) Benth. in silvopastoral systems of the CCS "Eugenio González" of the Holguín municipality. A browsing system and the multistratum live trees were established as silvopastoral systems. The Pithecelobium dulce specie was found to be in good morphophysiological condition, showed excellent adaptation to soil and climate conditions, and was found to be evenly distributed at farm “La Margarita” belonging to the CCS "Eugenio González". A management plan was developed for the species under study associated with other promising shrubs for animal feed on this farm, which is located in the southern region of the municipality of Holguín belonging to the Cauto River Basin.
