Exercises to Improve English Oral Expression with Creativity in Seventh Grade Students at Lucía Íñiguez Landín Junior High School

Abstract

The current Diploma Paper carries out a key problem in the teaching of English today: oral expression. Starting from tests applied, which provided the existence of difficulties in oral expression of the English subject, in seventh grade students at „‟Lucía Íñiguez Landín‟‟ Junior High School. The author also applied Empirical methods which helped to value this statement: observations to lessons of English, interviews to teachers, surveys to students, that brought to the surface problems in the exercises planned to develop a good oral expression with creativity. The first chapter deals with the current situation of the object of investigation and the theoretical foundation of oral expression and creativity in seventh grade students at Lucía Íñiguez Landín Junior High School. The second chapter is devoted to the introduction of important methodological aspects for the later presentation of the main contribution: exercises to favor oral expression with creativity, giving a solution to the problem detected. The third chapter deals with the corroboration of the exercises proposed by the teacher to improve seventh graders‟ oral expression with creativity.
