Optimización de las rutas de distribución de medicamentos a los clientes de EMCOMED Mayarí

Abstract

En esta investigación se traza como objetivo el diseño de rutas optimas de distribución de medicamentos con el empleo de herramientas informáticas para lograr la eficiencia del sistema de transporte empleado por la Comercializadora de Medicamentos (EMCOMED). Posterior al análisis de varios métodos heurísticos de solución al problema de ruta. Del tipo “Agente Viajero” con la aplicación del método de programación lineal con enteros binarios a la herramienta Solver de Microsoft Office, se obtuvo la mejor solución al problema analizado, la que se podrá emplear por quien tenga que tomar las decisiones de diseñar las rutas de abasto de medicamentos, en tiempo récord con la certeza de obtener una solución que este dentro del conjunto de soluciones óptimas. Con el valor añadido de poder disminuir o adicionar nodos en función de la demanda. Esta optimización permitió mejorar en 2.64 km la solución de EMCOMED Mayarí, lo que significa un ahorro de medio litro de combustible diésel por recorrido y tipo de vehículo. Otro importante aporte de esta investigación, sin el cual no hubiera sido posible todo el trabajo posterior, ha sido la confección de una tabla general de distancias entre cada uno de los clientes. La misma está hecha de forma tal que se puedan establecer las distancias entre los clientes, aun cuando estos no se encuentren dentro de la ruta de distribución facilitándole a los choferes distribuidores de medicamentos su desempeño laboral pues algunos de los medios de transporte no cuentan con los odómetros para medir la distancia recorrida de la entidad referida
