Propuesta de rediseño del sistema de información para la Dirección de Ciencia y Tecnología del Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Ambientales de Holguín

Abstract

Es de suma importancia para el desarrollo de las organizaciones, en un entorno cambiante por el progreso continuo de las TIC, poseer un esquema de información eficiente y eficaz que permita extraer conocimientos, procesarlos, almacenarlos y distribuirlos para el proceso de toma de decisiones, el trazado de estrategias y para la solución de problemas. Por esta condición, se propuso el rediseño de un Sistema de Información para la Dirección de Ciencia y Tecnología del Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Ambientales de Holguín (CISAT), el que estará orientado a establecer su implementación y a favorecer el cumplimiento de los objetivos estratégicos de dicha Dirección. Para la ejecución de este análisis se utilizaron los métodos teóricos y empíricos que ayudaron al desarrollo, la organización y al cumplimiento de los objetivos de la investigación. La propuesta resulta significativa y estimulante, pues permitirá la interacción de los miembros de la Dirección de Ciencia y Tecnología con el nuevo Sistema de Información y establecerá una organización lógica del flujo de información por procesos claves, agilizando los procesos de información y mejorando la calidad de la información generada por la Dirección de Ciencia y Tecnología del Centro de Investigaciones y Servicios Ambientales de Holguín

It is of the utmost importance for the development of organizations, in a changing environment due to the continuous progress of ICT, to have an efficient and effective information scheme that allows knowledge to be extracted, processed, stored and distributed for the decision making process, the strategizing and problem solving. Due to this condition, the redesign of an Information System for the Science and Technology Directorate of the Holguín Center for Research and Environmental Services (CISAT) was proposed, which will be oriented to establish its implementation and to favor the fulfillment of the strategic objectives of said Address. For the execution of this analysis, the theoretical and empirical methods that helped the development, the organization and the fulfillment of the objectives of the investigation were used. The proposal is significant and stimulating, since it will allow the interaction of the members of the Science and Technology Department with the new Information System and will establish a logical organization of the information flow by key processes, streamlining the information processes and improving the quality of information. The information generated by the Directorate of Science and Technology of the Center for Research and Environmental Services of Holguín
