Utilización del GeoGebra en el primer año de carreras universitarias. Ejemplos y consideraciones didácticas

Abstract

El GeoGebra brinda la posibilidad de crear múltiples alternativas para el perfeccionamiento de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de las matemáticas, entre otras, la integración de contenidos de distintas áreas del conocimiento, la profundización en aspectos geométricos y la relación con procedimientos algebraicos, también para la atención a las particularidades de los escolares con vistas a estimular y desarrollar adecuadamente su creatividad.Considerando el desconocimiento e ínfimo aprovechamiento de las posibilidades que ofrece este software para el perfeccionamiento de la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de la matemática en el primer año de carreras universitarias y, la necesidad de brindarle una atención diferenciada a los escolares atendiendo sus conocimientos previos, habilidades y actitudes para que puedan enfrentar las exigencias del nuevo nivel educacional, se muestran ejemplos vinculados a varios contenidos y consideraciones didácticas.Se ilustra la utilización del GeoGebra en la consulta a un alumno y de los deslizadores para variar las funciones y con ello ampliar la cantidad y variedad de ejemplos, con disímiles niveles de exigencias y posibilidades de atender las diferencias individuales de los escolares en distintas formas organizativas de la enseñanza – aprendizaje. Se expone un tratamiento didáctico para la derivada como función a partir del GeoGegra en Matemática I y el aprovechamiento de las construcciones realizadas para la profundización, sistematización de contenidos y el reconocimiento de relaciones geométricas y algebraicas involucradas en el análisis de funciones. Los ejemplos y consideraciones expuestas contribuyeron a resolver problemas diagnosticados.

GeoGebra offers the possibility of creating multiple alternatives for the improvement of teaching and learning of mathematics, among others, the integration of contents of different areas of knowledge, the deepening of geometric aspects and the relationship with algebraic procedures, also for the Attention to the particularities of schoolchildren with a view to stimulating and properly developing their creativity.Considering the lack of knowledge and small use of the possibilities offered by this software for the improvement of the teaching and learning of mathematics in the first year of university careers and the need to provide a differentiated attention to the students attending their previous knowledge, skills And attitudes so that they can meet the demands of the new educational level, are shown examples linked to various content and didactic considerations.It illustrates the use of GeoGebra in the consultation of a student and of the sliders to vary the functions and with it to increase the quantity and variety of examples, with different levels of exigencies and possibilities of attending the individual differences of the students in different organizational forms of teaching - learning. It presents a didactic treatment for the derivative as a function from GeoGebra in Mathematics I and the use of the constructions made for the deepening, systematization of contents and the recognition of geometric and algebraic relations involved in the analysis of functions. The examples and considerations discussed helped to solve diagnosed problems.
