Caracterización de prácticas y percepción de problemas en suelo y agua para riego en fincas de la CCSF “Juan Manuel Romero García”

Abstract

Uno de los problemas que está afectando la producción agropecuaria es la contaminación de suelo y agua por efecto de la salinidad, ante la demanda de agricultores de recibir colaboración ante esta problemática se desarrolló el presente trabajo con el objetivo de caracterizar las prácticas y la percepción de agricultores de problemas en suelo y agua para riego en fincas de la CCSF Juan Manuel Romero García. Se utilizaron elementos de la metodología del Proyecto de Apoyo al Sistema de Extensión Agraria (PASEA). Los elementos esenciales: sensibilización a los cooperativistas, entrevistas a campesinos con el objetivo de conocer datos generales de las fincas, percepción sobre la problemática y las prácticas que realizan sobre los suelos y agua para el riego. Los resultados demuestran que la mayor parte de los agricultores no perciben ningún problema en los suelos, los demás identifican la compactación, exceso de humedad, encharcamiento y baja fertilidad como los principales problemas. Las prácticas que el mayor número de agricultores realizan en sus fincas son: la aplicación de materia orgánica, incorporación de residuos de cosechas, rotación de cultivos, introducción de nuevas variedades, diversificación de cultivos y empleo de la tracción animal para la preparación del suelo. La mayoría de los agricultores perciben que el agua es de mala y regular calidad, pero los que riegan no hacen el mejor uso de esta. El plan de acciones elaborado con los agricultores se enfoca al área de Extensión Agraria en función de los principales problemas.

One of the problems that are affecting the agrarian production is the pollution of the earth and the water for saltpetre effect, front to farmers demand to recive collaboration in view of this problem. This reccarch project work was developed with the objective to characterize the politics and preparation of farmers to front problems on the soil and the water, to irrigate landed properties of the (CCSF) Juan Manuel Romero García. It was used some elements of the Methodological Project Prop to the Agrarian Extention System (PASEA). The essential elements; sensitization to the cooperative society, interviews to the farmers with the objective to know general datas of the farms. It was taken into account the perception about problem and the practices that they´ll realize about props and water to irrigate. These results show that a big part of farmers that haven´t problems in their props. On the other hand, the others can identify the compactation, dampness excess, poarching, and down fertilness like principal problems. The practices that a great number of farmers make in their farms are: the organic matiria, incolporation of residues of production, rotation of cultivation,introduction of new technics, diversification of cultivation and employ of animal traction for preparation of earth. The mayority of farmers see that the water is the regular and bad quality, but the farmers that use the irrigate don´t make a good use of it. The plan of actions prepared with farmers focused on in the area of Agrarian Extention in fintion of the principal problems relationed with the soil and water to irrigate cultivation.
