dc.description.abstractThe management of agroecosystems with sustainable and environmental methods through the rational and efficient use of the land for the production of food and energy constitutes one of the main objectives of agroecological biotechnology as part of modern biotechnology. In this sense, it is of the utmost importance to obtain transgenic organisms from molecular methods and techniques of great impact in the developed world. The utility of transgenic organisms in agroecology under Cuban conditions allows greater productivity of the plant species in a given ecosystem. Food production is of great importance at present, an aspect that constitutes a premise within the strategic socio-economic axes of the country. The result presented is part of the actions developed by the Plant Biotechnology business project: support for local development from the teaching-research-production link of the students of the Biology and Agronomy career at the University of Holguín.es_ES
