Abstract
The feasibility analysis is an essential part of the process of selecting investments in
capital assets, since it allows determining the profitability of the idea that you want to
undertake and thus decide whether or not to carry it out. The objective of this
research is to develop a technical-economic feasibility study to know what results the
decision to invest in the Mayarí sarcophagus factory for retail sale in the Mayarí
territory provides, which will allow managers to plan and manage the resources for its
execution, and the control of the assumptions that allow the recovery of the financing
initially invested in the time and amount estimated in the study. To achieve this,
different scientific methods have been used at the theoretical level such as historical,
hypothetical-deductive, and at the empirical level such as scientific observation,
comparison, as well as analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction procedures. The
results obtained, through the calculation of indicators such as: Net Present Value
(NPV), the Internal Rate of Return (IRR), the Recovery Period (PR) and the Rate of
Return of the Van (RVAN), allow reaching the conclusion that it is advisable for the
company to carry out the investment project
