| dc.description.abstract | Esta investigación se desarrolló en el organopónico de “Villa Nueva” perteneciente a
la Granja Urbana del Municipio Holguín, entre los meses de noviembre-enero del
2012, con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de diferentes frecuencias de aplicación de
Fitomas-E, sobre los componentes del rendimiento del cultivo de Cucumis sativus
L (pepino). La siembra fue a dos semillas por nido, montando un diseño
completamente aleatorizado, con 3 tratamientos, un testigo y 10 observaciones, en
canteros de 30.0 m de largo y 1.0 m de ancho y distancia de siembra de 0.80 x
0.25 m. Se evaluaron los indicadores: número de hojas por planta, largo del tallo por
planta, número de frutos por planta, el rendimiento total (kg. m
-2
) y la valoración
económica de los resultados alcanzados. En todos los casos, los resultados fueron
sometidos al análisis de varianza y cuando se encontraron diferencias significativas,
se compararon las medias por la prueba de comparación múltiples de medias
Duncan para un 5 % de significación a través del paquete estadístico ver 2,00 (ICA,
2006). Se obtuvo la mejor respuesta con la aplicación del tratamiento 2 en todas
las variables estudiadas. This investigation was developed in the organopónico of "Villa Nueva" belonging to
the Urban Farm of the Municipality Holguín, between the months of November to
January of the 2012, with the objective of evaluating the effect of different frequencies
of application of Fitomas-E, on the components of the yield of the cultivation of

number of fruits for plant, the total yield (kg. m-2) and the economic valuation of the
reached results. In all the cases, the results were subjected to the variance analysis
and when they were significant differences, the stockings were compared by the
multiple comparison test of stockings Duncan for 5 significance% through the
statistical package to see 2,00 (ICA, 2006). The best answer was obtained with the
