La Práctica periodística especializada en temática cultural: el caso del noticiero En Directo del telecentro CNC

Abstract

La investigación propone un estudio de la sección cultural del noticiero En Directo del telecentro CNC de la provincia de Granma, para estudiar el tratamiento de la temática cultural durante el período comprendido entre enero y marzo del 2012, a través del enfoque de la práctica periodística especializada. El estudio se sostiene a partir de una serie de métodos de nivel teórico y empírico tales como el análisis de síntesis, el histórico-lógico, la revisión bibliográfica documental, las entrevistas en profundidad y el análisis de contenido desde una perspectiva fundamentalmente cualitativa. Su resultado evidencia la inexistencia de una práctica periodística especializada en temática cultural a pesar de las potencialidades en recursos humanos y tecnológicos; y aporta, a su vez, conocimientos necesarios para implementar estrategias que posibiliten su desarrollo, tal y como lo demanda la prácticas periodísticas especializadas.

The research is focused on the analysis of the culture news segment of the En Directo newsreel from the Granma province television center to study the treatment of the cultural topic through the theoretical grounds of specialized journalism. Carried out on a sample between January and March 2012 under the assumption that this kind of journalism stands for one of the most wider scope of specialization not yet fully defined, the study makes use of theoretical and practical methods such as the content analysis, the logic-historic, the documentary revision, the interview and the synthesis-analysis from a qualitative point of view. The results show that journalism practice on cultural topics does not agree with a correspondent specialization despite the availability of human resource and technology.
