Abstract

Con el surgimiento de Internet, apareció una nueva forma de hacer periodismo, el Periodismo Hipermedia y los profesionales han tenido que adaptarse rápidamente al novedoso medio y para ello ha sido necesario adquirir otras competencias para estar en la red: nuevos sistemas de conocimientos y destrezas tecnológicas y profesionales. El estudio MIRADA HACIA LAS COMPETENCIAS PROFESIONALES DE EDITORES Y REPORTEROS QUE LABORAN EN Y PARA EL SITIO www.ahora.cu revela cómo se manifiestan las competencias profesionales de estos editores y reporteros que laboran en y para el sitio web, uno de los proyectos editoriales que sustenta el Semanario ¡ahora! Esta investigación científica es en lo fundamental de corte cualitativo aunque se apoya de lo cuantitativo para ratificar sus resultados Se realizó una caracterización de ahora.cu desde su surgimiento hasta la actualidad, con el objetivo de recopilar y preservar su memoria histórica, lo cual permite obtener un referente sobre el sitio web para estudios posteriores. Analiza, además, el quehacer profesional de editores y reporteros en la publicación. Se alcanzaron resultados que confirman el cumplimiento del objetivo y las tareas científicas mediante los cuales se llegó a conclusiones, y por tanto, se ofrece, al medio de prensa, recomendaciones que facilitarán el perfeccionamiento de la práctica periodística en www.ahora.cu.

With the appearance of the Internet, a new form of journalism emerged, Hypermedia Journalism and professionals have had to adapt quickly to the new means and therefore has been necessary to acquire other skills to be on the net: new systems of knowledge and technological and professionals skills. The study LOOK AT PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF EDITORS AND REPORTERS who work IN AND FOR THE WEB SITE www.ahora.cu shows how are expressed the professional skills of these editors and reporters who work in and for the website, one of the publishing projects carried out by the ¡ahora! weekly newspaper. This scientific research is mainly qualitative although it is supported in the quantitative to ratify the results. A made a characterization of ahora.cu from its creation to the present, with the aim of collecting and preserving its historical memory, which allows for a reference on the website for further studies. It also analyzes the professional work of editors and reporters in the publication. We achieved results confirming the fulfillment of the objective and scientific tasks by which conclusions were reached, and therefore, it offers over the newspaper, recommendations that will facilitate the improvement of journalistic practice in www.ahora.cu.
