Análisis del discurso periodístico del telediario Al Día desde la Perspectiva de Género

Abstract

La Teoría de la Comunicación y la Teoría de Género surgen en el siglo XX y se ocupan de incorporar a las prácticas discursivas el acontecer diario, tomando como punto de partida el comportamiento humano, enfocadas en analizar la construcción social de sentido y las interrelaciones en los ámbitos de las edificaciones simbólicas. Los Medios de Comunicación funcionan como principales espacios de convergencia del periodismo, y como elementos inmersos en un contexto específico, reproducen de cierta manera el status quo y sus mensajes contienen una carga intencional. La investigación comunicológica necesita incorporar a sus prácticas discursivas la dimensión que encierra la Teoría de Género y unificar el proceso de las mediaciones que intervienen y conforman el acto de la comunicación masiva. Los medios pueden elaborar un discurso donde ambas partes se vean identificadas. Pueden crear un estado social de progreso, y no retrasar la sociedad con la reafirmación de estereotipos y prejuicios. Esta investigación tiene como objetivo caracterizar el discurso periodístico que ofrece el noticiero Al Día de Tele Cristal, desde la Perspectiva de Género. El estudio tiene un el carácter cualitativo; se utilizó la entrevista semi-estandarizada, la observación científica y el análisis de contenido, como técnicas investigativas. Los resultados exponen las principales deficiencias de la construcción del discurso periodístico desde el enfoque de género. La investigación aporta una sistematización de los fundamentos teóricos de la perspectiva de Género en función de la comunicación y, específicamente en función del discurso periodístico ofrecido por el Noticiero Al Día de Tele Cristal.

The Theory of Communication and the Theory of Gender appear in the XXth century. They are in charge of incorporating daily events to the discursive practices, taking the human behavior as part of departure. Also, they are, focused on analyzing the social construction of sense and the interrelations in the environments of the symbolic construction. Media as main spaces of convergence of the journalism, and as elements inside in a specific context, reproduce in certain way the status quo and its messages contain an intentional load. The communication investigation needs to incorporate to its discursive practices the dimension that contains the Theory of Gender and to unify the process of the mediations that they intervene and conform to the act of the massive communication. The means can elaborate a speech where both parts are identified. They can create a social state of progress, and not to retard society with the reaffirming of stereotypes and prejudices. This investigation has as objective to characterize the journalistic speech that the journalist offers to the Al Día news of Tele Cristal, from the Perspective of Gender. The study has a qualitative character; the semi-standardized interview, the scientific observation and the content analysis, were analyzed as investigative technique. The results expose the main deficiencies of the construction of the journalistic speech from the gender focus. The investigation contributes a systematizing of the theoretical foundations of the erspective of Gender in function of the communication and, specifically in function of the journalistic speech offered by the Journalist to the Al Día news of Tele Cristal.
