Aportes de la obra de José Abreu Cardet a la historiografía holguinera.

Abstract

La presente investigación constituye un estudio que revela los aportes del investigador José Abreu Cardet al desarrollo de la historiografía holguinera. Ella aborda todo un recorrido por la historiografía del territorio, identificando a sus principales exponentes, desde Diego de Ávila hasta José Abreu Cardet. Se logra un abordaje sobre las características de su obra, desde las fuentes teóricas que la sustentan hasta la determinación de los aportes a la historiografía territorial. Además, se recoge minuciosamente su producción historiográfica a través del tránsito por su hoja de vida que resalta la identificación de sus principales títulos. Se trabaja en la proyección del análisis científico del historiador y sus temas desarrollados en el contexto investigativo regional. Para el desarrollo investigativo y posterior resultado del trabajo son utilizados métodos teóricos como el histórico – lógico e inductivo- deductivo, que ayudan a determinar y comprender toda la evolución de la creación historiográfica de José Abreu Cardet y la determinación de sus aportes. Entre los métodos empíricos fue aplicada la observación y la entrevista como herramientas necesarias para el cruzamiento de la información con las fuentes historiográficas. Este trabajo constituye un precedente para el análisis de la evolución y la calidad de la historiografía regional, la cual, sin dudas, presenta una producción considerable

The present investigation is a study that reveals the contribution given by the investigator José Abreu Cardet to the development of the historiography about the province of Holguín. This investigation give a general view of the historiography of this territory, it identifies the main exponents since Diego de Ávila to José Abreu Cardet. It achieves an overview about the main characteristics of his work since the theoretical sources that substantiate it to the determination of the contribution to the territorial historiography. Apart from that, this work gathers carefully his historiography production through his life and it stands out the identification of his main titles. It works in the projection of the scientifical analysis made by the historian and his themes developed in the regional investigative context. For the investigative development and later result of the work different theoretical methods are used such as the historic-logic and the inductive- deductive which help to determine and understand all the evolution of José Abreu Cardet’s historiographic creation and the determination of his contribution. Among the empiric methods used, the observation and the interview were very necessary to analyze the information from the different sources consulted. This work constitutes a source to the analysis of the evolution and the quality of the regional historiography which undoubtedly, presents a considerable production.
