La defensa del Patrimonio Cultural a través de la obra de Georgelina Miranda Peláez.

Abstract

El estudio de la labor de preservación y conservación del Patrimonio Cultural por Georgelina Miranda Peláez, es fundamental para completar la historia cultural de Holguín. En esta investigación se utilizó el método de la entrevista, encuestas, revisión de documentos, observación y valoración del trabajo desempeñado por esta mujer, finalizando en una historia de vida, que recoge la influencia de esta personalidad en la cultura holguinera. En esta primera exploración contamos con documentos y testimonios que hablan de la participación de Georgelina Miranda Peláez en la fundación del Museo La Periquera, el 25 de julio de 1976, del Archivo Provincial (1984-1986). Contamos también con los testimonios que ratifican a esta persona como fundadora del Proyecto Identidad en Holguín, 1985. El estudio muestra la participación de esta personalidad en los diferentes eventos que tienen que ver con la cultura y el patrimonio de Holguín. Se destacan las principales acciones realizadas en los museos y sitios históricos de nuestra provincia, partes inseparables del Patrimonio Cultural, pues enfatizan en los elementos de nuestra identidad tales como: objetos arquitectónicos, legado aborigen, luchas del pueblo y leyendas. Los premios, reconocimientos y distinciones como el Escudo de la Provincia de Holguín, septiembre 1992, distinción por la Cultura Nacional, 1994, Premio de restauración y conservación de Gibara, 1993; sellos por 5 y 10 años de Cuadro en la Cultura y por 20 años de labor a favor de la Cultura, ratifican la importancia de esta personalidad para la cultura del territorio. La estructura de esta investigación consta de resumen, introducción, el Capítulo I que aborda sobre el Patrimonio Cultural como expresión genuina de la cultura de un pueblo haciendo énfasis en el análisis de las categorías de Patrimonio Cultural e Identidad Cultural y la gestión en la salvaguarda del Patrimonio Cultural en Holguín. El Capítulo II, recoge los elementos que caracterizan las etapas de formación y evolución de Georgelina Miranda Peláez y sus aportes en los campos investigativos y de salvaguarda del Patrimonio Cultural, enfatizando un epígrafe dedicado al desarrollo de su niñez, juventud y adultez, y un segundo donde se marcan las contribuciones brindadas por ella, las que la definen como promotora de la conservación y preservación del Patrimonio Cultural. Este trabajo expone conclusiones y recomendaciones científicas para la socialización de los resultados, así como bibliografías y anexos.

The study of the preservation work and conservation of the Cultural Patrimony for Georgelina Miranda Peláez is fundamental to complete the cultural history of Holguín. In this investigation the method of the interview was used, surveys, revision of documents, observation and valuation of the work carried out by this woman, concluding in a history of life that picks up the influence of this personality in the culture holguinera. In this first exploration we have documents and testimonies that speak of the participation of Georgelina Miranda Peláez in the foundation of the Museum the Periquera, July of 1976, of the Provincial File 25 (1984- 1986). We also have the testimonies that ratify this person like founder of the Project Identity in Holguín, 1985. The study shows the participation of this personality in the different events that have to do with the culture and the patrimony of Holguín. They stand out the main actions carried out in the museums and historical places of our county, inseparable parts of the Cultural Patrimony, because they emphasize in the elements of our identity as: architectural objects, legacy aborigine, fights of the town and legends. The prizes, recognitions and distinctions like the Shield of the County of Holguín, September 1992, distinction for the National Culture, 1994, restoration Prize and conservation of Gibara, 1993; stamps for 5 and 10 years of Square in the Culture and for 20 years of work in favor of the Culture, they ratify the importance of this personality for the culture of the territory. The structure of this investigation consists of summary, introduction, the Chapter I that approaches on the Cultural Patrimony as genuine expression of the culture of a town making emphasis in the analysis of the categories of Cultural Patrimony and Cultural Identity and the administration in the safeguard of the Cultural Patrimony in Holguín. The Chapter II, it picks up the elements that characterize the formation stages and evolution of Georgelina Miranda Peláez and their contributions in the investigative fields and of safeguard of the Cultural Patrimony, emphasizing an epigraph dedicated to the development of their childhood, youth and adulthood, and one second where the contributions are marked toasted by her, those that define it as promoter of the conservation and preservation of the Cultural Patrimony. This work exposes conclusions and scientific recommendations for the socialization of the results, as well as bibliographies and annexes.
