Abstract

El trabajo de diploma se titula: Influencia del vertido vibratorio en las propiedades mecánicas del hierro con grafito esferoidal obtenido por el proceso In Mold. Su objetivo general: Analizar la influencia que ejerce el método de vertido vibratorio en las propiedades de elongación y dureza del hierro con grafito esferoidal. La investigación fue desarrollada en el taller de fundición de la Empresa “Héroes del 26 de julio”, mientras la preparación de las muestras y el estudio de propiedades mecánicas en la Facultad de Ingeniería de la Universidad de Holguín; para lo cual se empleo un horno de cubilote, en el que se utiliza como nodulizante la colada de níquel de la Empresa René Ramos La tour (mejor composición química), como inoculante el ferro-silicio (FeSi 45), utilizando los métodos estático y vibratorio; durante el cual se evaluaron los procedimientos existentes que intervienen en la obtención de hierro con grafito esferoidal por el proceso en el molde; así como, los antecedentes del vertido vibratorio en la obtención de fundidos de metales ferrosos y no ferrosos, además se realizó un estudio de las propiedades de dureza y elongación que permitió conocer la influencia del vertido vibratorio en la formación de la perlita y la ferrita del hierro con grafito esferoidal.
